Isabel W. Collmer

Isabel W. Collmer, 93, residing on Council Oak Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, in St. Paul's Retirement Community.

She was born on Sept. 4, 1905, in South Bend, to the late William and Dora W. (Harmon) Collmer, and had been a lifelong resident of this community. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

She was employed with Wilson Brothers, and retired in 1968 from Enro Shirt Factory.

She is survived by a sister, Eunice V. Bixler of South Pasadena, Fla., and by several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of South Bend.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. David M. Doane of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Friday in the funeral home.
