Margaret I. Colley

Margaret I. Colley, 85, formerly of
Victoria Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an illness
on Saturday, April 20, in St. Luke's Hospital South, Overland
Park, Kan. Mrs. Colley was a Michiana area resident until 1998,
when she moved near her son Edward in Port Arthur, Texas. She was
presently residing with her daughter Alice in Stillwell, Kan.
Mrs. Colley was born on Oct. 29, 1916, in Mishawaka, Ind., as the
daughter of the late Gustave and Nathalie (Van Den Abeele)
De Wulf.
On Sept. 19, 1942, in St. Bavo's Catholic
Church, Mishawaka, as the former Margaret De Wulf, she married
George Colley, who preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 1997. Mrs.
Colley was also preceded in death by her son, George Edward
Colley on Sept. 19, 2001; one sister, Elsie Long; and by a
brother, Gaston De Wulf.
Mrs. Colley is survived by one daughter,
Alice Ann Tyser of Stillwell; two grandchildren, Caroline Hawley
of South Bend and Michelle Perry of Nashville, Tenn.; four
great-grandchildren; and by a daughter-in-law, Annie Wykoff
of Port Arthur.
Margaret was a former member of St. Bavo's
Catholic Church in Mishawaka as well as a former member of St.
Matthew's Cathedral in South Bend. Memorial services will be held
at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505
W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Michael Heintz of St.
Matthew's Cathedral officiating. The family will receive friends
one hour prior to the service in the Hahn Funeral Home. Memorial

Street, South Bend, IN 46613.
