SOUTH BEND - Paul Ray Colglazier passed away January 11, 2010 at
6:00 p.m. after a courageous battle with renal failure. Paul was
born on January 11, 1947, to the late Russell and Helen
Colglazier. He is survived by his wife, Betty Colglazier; a
brother, Earl Colglazier; a sister, Jane Carlton; a son Matthew
Colglazier; a daughter, Amy Palmer; a stepsons, Joseph, Anthony,
and Michael Girgenti; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Paul graduated from Central High School, and the University of
Central Florida, with a bachelor's degree in art. He was best
known for his artful greeting cards, and portrait drawings. He
was an avid fisherman and lover of nature. He was a beloved part
of the community in both South Bend, Indiana, and Daytona Beach
Florida where he resided for 32 years. He had a wonderful sense
of humor. Paul's kind heart and compassionate spirit, was
inspired by his deep love for God. A memorial will be held for
family and friends to celebrate Paul's life at the American
Legion post 297, 496 US Highway 20 in New Carlisle, Indiana.
