Stanley L. Cole

Stanley L. Cole, 51, of Third Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 7 a.m. on Friday, June 11, in his residence. He was born in Mishawaka on June 22, 1947, and had lived here all of his life. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Beatrice (Unruh) Cole; a sister, Doris Betcher; and by two brothers, Lyle and Phillip Cole. Stanley had worked at A.M. General, and had formerly attended the Apostolic Temple in South Bend, Ind.

He married Sharon A. Jensby in South Bend on Nov. 3, 1972. She survives. Stanley is also survived by a daughter, Stacy Cole; two sons, Toby (Starla) Cole and Scott Cole, all of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Tricia May, David, Nicholas, Sarah and Aaron Cole; five sisters, Louise Zellers of North Liberty, Ind., Gladys Gerschoffer of Stevensville, Mich., Pat Levan of South Bend, Thelma Zappia of Mishawaka and Trudy Clyburn of Mishawaka; and five brothers, Floyd of Clawson, Mich., Harold of South Bend, Delbert of Valparaiso, Ind., DuWayne of Elkhart, Ind., and Don Weems of Clawson.

Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. today, June 13, and from one hour prior to services on Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home, with Tim Goode officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Hospice.
