Sister M. Imeldine Coleman CSC, 81, died in St. Mary’s Convent Monday morning after a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 9, 1897 in Union City, Ind. as Catherine Coleman and entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s on July 6, 1926. She was received as a novice on Jan. 6, 1927 and made her funal vows on Jan. 6, 1929. During her career with the community she taught in several schools in East Chicago and Washington DC. She returned to St. Mary’s Convent in 1968.

Services will be at 10a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call today and until services in the convent parlors where a wake service will be at 7 p.m. today.
