MISHAWAKA - Clyde Cole, 72, of 216 Prairie Ave., Mishawaka,
passed away at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, in Hospice House,
South Bend, after an extended illness. He was a retired factory
worker in the mobile home industry. He was born to Enoch and Ruby
F. (Arnett) Cole, both deceased, on June 3, 1938, in North
Liberty, and was a lifetime area resident. Surviving are three
sons, Jeff Cole Jimerson of Knox, O.W. Brian and Gerald, both of
LaPorte; sisters, Mary (Gene) Runyan of South Bend, Stella Mae
Samuels of Knox, Phyllis Pohl and Donna (Richard) Gouker, both of
North Liberty; brothers, Ed (Paula) Cole of Walkerton, Vance Cole
of Mishawaka, Russell (Janella) Jimerson and Lonnie (Stacey)
Jimerson, both of North Liberty; granddaughters, Cheyenne Cole
Jimerson of Knox and Kayla Jimerson Hostetler; and a
great-grandchild, Molly Hostetler. He is also survived by his
loving companion and best friend, Clara Cole of South Bend, and
close friend, Kristy Jimerson of Walkerton. Services will be at
11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, in the A.M. Manuel Funeral Home,
North Liberty, and officiated by Tim Stewart, pastor of the North
Liberty Church of Christ. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial
Gardens, Osceola. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday
in the funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the
family in lieu of flowers.
