Services for former South Bend resident Richard Coesens, 61, of York Pa., sho died Monday of a coronary attack, were held Wednesday in York.
Coesens was born in Mishawaka on Jan 6, 1908 and lived there during his youth. Mr Coesens, who is survived by his wife, the former Naomi Peiffer of Mishawaka, joined Sears, Roebuck and Co. in South Bend in 1935 as a salesman. Also surviving are two sister. Mrs. John Korpal and Mrs. Fabian Gerstbauer, both of South Bend.
