Robert Eugene Cobb Jr.

Mr. Robert Eugene Cobb Jr., 62, beloved husband and father, who resided at 210 N. Wellington St., South Bend, departed this life at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at St. Joseph's Medical Center. On May 10, 1934, in South Bend, he was born to the union of Robert and O'Brien (Ingram) Cobb Sr. He was a lifetime area resident.

In South Bend, he married Ann Tran on March 10, 1973. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Ann, one son, Robert Eugene Cobb, III, one stepdaughter, Kelly Cobb, and one grandson, Michael Edwards, all of Monterey, Calif.; and two sisters, Lillian Cobb and Alice Ivory, both of South Bend, along with other relatives and friends. His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Cobb was a veteran of the United States Army serving as office supply clerk. Also, he was a member of VFW, Amvets and the Elks Lodge.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Alford's Mortuary, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
