SOUTH BEND - Wilda Mae Cloud, 74, of South Bend, IN passed away Monday morning, July 21, 2008, at her residence. She retired as a supervisor at News America Marketing. Wilda was born on August 1, 1933 in Shopville, KY to Joseph and Dessie (Guilliland) Brinkley. She was born in Kentucky, raised in Toledo, OH and lived in South Bend, IN since 1972. On August 13, 1955 in Toledo, OH at Peace Lutheran Church, she married Robert Cloud who survives. Along with her loving husband, Robert, she is survived by her daughter, Nona Cloud of Goshen; three sons, Vernon (Beth) Cloud and Robert Jr. (Christina) Cloud both of Buchanan, MI and Barry Alan Cloud of San Francisco, CA; six grandchildren, Christine Cloud, Veronica Cloud, Michelle Cloud, Jennifer (Andy) Williams, Amanda (Michael) Comer and Alice Cloud; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister ElWanda Brinkley; and one brother, Hugh Hampton Brinkley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend. Pastor Steve Mishke of Peace Lutheran Church, Granger will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Wilda Mae Cloud may be offered to Peace Lutheran Church, 16791 Cleveland Road, Granger, IN 46530.
