SOUTH BEND - James Scott Cline, 54, passed away April 4,
2008, in Orlando, FL. He was born May 30, 1953, in South Bend,
Indiana, and moved to Florida with his family in 1983. He
graduated from Jackson High School, South Bend, in 1971, and
graduated from Indiana University, South Bend. He was one of the
founders of Palm Casual/Casual Line Corporation, Orlando,
Florida, and owner of the Classic Car Wash in Gainesville,
Florida. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Windermere.
He was highly involved in Dr. Phillips and Windermere Little
League Baseball in years past and found his most joy recently
spending time making memories with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Cline of
Orlando, FL; daughter, Erin Haynes, and son-in-law, Joe
Haynes of Orlando, FL; a son, Chad Cline of Orlando, FL; parents,
James Dean Cline and Patricia Cline of Orlando, FL; sisters,
Janet Carrico and Jill Weed; grandchildren, Caleb
Cline, Palmer Haynes and Jamesyn Haynes of Orlando, FL; and
extended family of in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Scott's life
will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in First Baptist Church of
Windermere, Main St., Windermere, FL. Visitation will be at
Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery on Monday evening, April 7, 2008, from
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may
be made to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, Duke
University Medical Center, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710; or to
Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W. Central Pkwy., Altamonte
Springs, FL 32714.
