SOUTH BEND - Harry N. Clark, 66, of Palisade Ave., South Bend,Ind., died after an illness on Thursday, Jan 1, in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Clark was born on Jan. 14, 1931, in Rochester, N.Y., and had lived in South Bend since 1951, coming from Maryland. He retired in July of 1997 from Real Services.
On June 20, 1951, in South Bend, he married Marguerite Wright, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Barbara A. (Terry R.) Wheeler of South Bend; a son, Frederick M. Clark of South Bend; three grandchildren, Jason, Christina and Carrie Wheeler; a sister, Jean Proflock of California; and by a daughter-in-law, Nancy J. Clark of Ocala, Fla. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his son, Glen E. Clark in 1996; and by his parents, Frederick and Edith Turner. Mr. Clark was a member of the teamsters union, local 364.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home Chapel, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, with Reverend Loren Van Dort officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Cremation will take place with burial of ashes in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Real Services.
