Betty Lou Clark
MISHAWAKA - Betty Lou Clark, 79, of
Eastgate Circle, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at
7:20 p.m. on Monday, January 22, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical
Center, Mishawaka. Betty was born on November 24, 1927, in
Bourbon, Indiana, as the daughter of Omer Francis and Phianna (Holmes)
Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by
three brothers, Harold, Albert and William Taylor.
On March 12, 1945, in London, KY, as the former Betty Lou Taylor,
she married John T. Clark, who preceded her in death on May 19,
2003. Surviving Betty are a daughter, Sueann (William) Petzold
of South Bend; two sons, Thomas (Linda) Clark of Cassopolis, MI,
and James (Anna) Clark of South Bend; six grandchildren, John
Petzold, Tammy Seltzer, Tracy Gunn, Tara Sue Szabo,
Steven Clark and David Clark; 11 great-grandchildren, Justina
Petzold, Alisha Petzold, Joshua Kite, Brittany Kite,
Vaughn, Seltzer, Brandon Gunn, Miriah Gunn, Linsey Szabo,
Chaz Szabo, Emily Seltzer and Stephanie Seltzer; and two
great-great-grandchildren. Betty was a loving mother, and
grandmother. She could always bring a smile to anyone's face. She
was a joy to be around, and she loved spending time with her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January
26th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka,
with visitation one hour prior to services, with Pastor Ryan
Yazel of Keller Park Missionary Church officiating. Contributions
