Eugene S. Cierzniak

November 5, 1924 – February 15, 1986

Eugene S. Cierzniak, 61, of 3211 Rue Voltaire, died at 8:45pm Saturday in St Joseph’s Medical Center.  Mr. Cierzniak was employed by Bendix at Jackson TN for 35 years.

He was born November 5, 1924, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.  On July 28, 1956, in South Bend, he married Gertrude Hazinski, who survives.  Also surviving are a son, Paul at home; and two sisters, Margaret Ludwick of South Bend and Dorothy Grant of Ann Arbor.

Memorial services will be at 11am Tuesday in St Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.  Cremation will follow.  There will be no visitation.  Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  He was a member of St Anthony’s, M.R. Falcons, was a veteran of WW II and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Jackson.
