Henry A. Chrobot, aged 34, of 102 N. Meade
street, died Wednesday afternoon in St. Joseph hospital of shock
induced by fracture of his left leg Friday in a fall. Coroner
Donald Grillo who is investigating the case, said complications
resulted from the leg fracture but that death was caused by shock
following dehydration.
Mr. Chrobot suffered the fracture when he
fell from a ladder which he had leaned against his automobile
while working in the garage at his residence.
Mr. Chrobot was born in Crumstown, this
county, June 16, 1905, and was married in St. Stanislaus Roman
Catholic church here in 1929 to Miss Marie Wroblewski. She
survives. He leaves also his mother, Mrs. Leocadio Chrobot,
South Bend; three children, Hoan, Henry, Jr., and Leonard, all at
home; a sister Helen Chrobot and three brothers, Clement,
Thaddeus and Walter Chrobot, all of Soutn Bend.
Friends will be received in the residence
after 6 pm today and the funeral will be held at 9 am Saturday in
St. Adalberts Roman Catholic church. Right Rev. John
W. Osadnik, pastor, will sing the requiem mass and interment will
be in St. Joseph cemetery.
