Frank J. Chrobot

Frank
J. Chrobot, age 69, of N. Elmer Street, South Bend, died at 9:45
a.m. Tuesday in his residence.
He
was born March 16, 1930 in South Bend, and was the son of Frank
and Dorothy (Starczewski) Chrobot, who preceded him in death. Mr.
Chrobot retired from the Kroger Stores in 1987 and from the South
Bend Tribune in 1995.
On
August 8, 1953 in South Bend, he married Evelyn Wenderski who
survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Anne (Michael) Simon of
South Bend, two sons, Kenneth Chrobot of South Bend and James
Chrobot of Albuquerque, New Mexico, three grandchildren,
Jennifer, Jonathon and Amy Simon all of South Bend, and one
brother, Eugene Chrobot of South Bend.
Family
and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the St. Joseph
Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said
at 4 p.m. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Stanislaus
Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph
Cemetery.
Mr.
Chrobot was a Korean War veteran, a member of American Legion
Pulaski Post #357, and Kroger Retail Clerks Union.

Mr.
Chrobot lived two days past the 50th anniversary of his father's
death.
