Hildegard A. Cholasinski

March 22, 1911 – November 24, 1996

SOUTH BEND – Hildegard A. Cholasinski, 85, of Dundee Street, died at 5:30pm Sunday in her residence.

She was born on March 22, 1911, in Germany.  Mrs. Cholasinski lived most of her life in South Bend, coming from Germany.  She retired in 1978, from Robertson’s Department Store, where she was a sales clerk in the millinery department for 40 years.

On November 26, 1930, in South Bend, as Hildegard A. Schultz, she married William M. Cholasinski, who preceded her in death on November 11, 1987.  A sister, Margaret Craven, also preceded her in death on March 13, 1996.

She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Ann Cholasinski of South Bend; two sons, Billy J. Cholasinski of Long Beach MS and Ronald E. Cholasinski of South Bend; three grandchildren; one great grandson; and two great granddaughters.

Services will be at 10am Friday, November 29, in St Patrick’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Charles J. Lavely, CSC, officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8pm Thursday, November 28, at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend.  A parish rosary will be recited at 5pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.
