A requiem high mass will be held at 6 a.m. Thursday in Saint Mary’s Convent for Sister Mary Louisita CSC, of the Sisters of Holy Cross who died Tuesday. Burial will be in the community cemetery. Friends may call in the novitiate parlor on the St. Mary’s campus.

She was born Marie Ange Chevalier in Gullier, France in 1867, and came to this country in 1886, and received the habit of the congregation that same year, and professing her final vows in 1893. Prior to her retirement to the Motherhouse, she lived in the Holy Cross Convent on the University of Notre Dame campus. She spent most of her community life in service to the university.
