MISHAWAKA – Bernice Mae Cheska,
86, of 812 Division Street, was dead on arrival this morning at
St. Joseph Hospital, after becoming ill in her residence. Born in
Bremen on April 4, 1887, she came to Mishawaka 26 years ago and
as Bernice Mae Tripp, was married to Frederick A. Cheska
in South Bend on May 22, 1911. He died March 3, 1963.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
