Maurice Chause
August 6, 1881 – January 28, 1964
Maurice Chause, 82, of 115 E. LaSalle Avenue, died at 1:20pm
Tuesday in St Joseph’s Hospital after an illness of several
weeks.
A retired caterer, Mrs. Chause was born in South Bend on August
6, 1881. He was a lifetime resident of the city.
Two brothers, Louise Chause of Dania FL and Arthur Chause of Palmyra
WI, survive. He was a member of Local 103, Bartender’s
Union, and Aerie 435, South Bend Eagles.
Friends may call after7pm today at the Orvis Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10am Friday in St Joseph’s Catholic
Church with Rev. Joseph F. Murphy, CSC, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be Cedar Grove Cemetery
