MISHAWAKA - Services for Helen L. Chapman, 69, of 5707 Bayswater Place, South Bend, formerly of Mishawaka, who died of natural causes at 8:58 a.m. Thursday in her home , will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Coalbush United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ferrisville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Hahn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc. or the church.

Mrs. Chapman was a retired medical receptionist. She was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Fort Wayne and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.

On Sept. 13, 1945, in Franklin, Ind., as Helen L. Kindig, she married Dale C. Chapman. He died Oct. 7, 1989. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Coffman of Mishawaka; a son, David of Granger; two grandchildren; a sister, Marglee Greer of Rochester; and a brother, Robert Kindig of Indianapolis. She was a member of the church.
