David S. Chan

SOUTH BEND - David S. Chan, 91, of Indiana 2, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Transitional Health Services. Mr. Chan was the owner/operator of the China Clipper Restaurant, Kokomo, retiring in 1974. He was born June 3, 1902, in Canton, China, and resided in South Bend since 1986, coming from Kokomo. He married Mayme G. Lee, who died in 1972. Surviving are two nieces, Helen Mark of Elkhart and Mary Chin of Eureka, Calif.; and a nephew, Kwong Chan of South Bend.

Services were Monday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery, Kokomo.
