Michael F. Chadwell

September 27, 1880 – February 26, 1967

Michael F. Chadwell, 86, of Rt 2, Liberty Tr., North Liberty, died at 11:30pm Sunday in the R. N. Nursing Home, Teegarden, after a long illness.  He was a retired railroad worker.

He was born on September 27, 1880, in St Joseph County, and lived here all of his life.  His wife, the former Carrie King, preceded him in death.  Surviving are a sister, Nora Bell Singleton of North Liberty; three nephews, Ralph, Charles and Raymond Singleton, all of North Liberty, and a niece, Mrs. Silvia Lauderback of Walkerton.

Friends may call after 7pm today at the Palmer Funeral Home, North Liberty, where services will be held at 2pm Tuesday.  Rev. Thomas Frost, pastor of the North Liberty Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Eastlawn Cemetery.
