SOUTH BEND - Corby Alan Cather, 31, of Edinburgh Drive, died at 1:38 a.m. today in his home after an illness. Mr. Cather was employed at Indiana University, Indianapolis, for three years. He was born March 17, 1964, in Bremen. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Larry G. and Jo Ann Cather of South Bend; his mother and stepfather, June Cather Nyeres and Stephen Nyeres of South Bend; a brother, Tracy of Dallas; four stepsisters; three stepbrothers; and his grandmother, Fern Hepler of Bremen. He attended Ball State University School of Architecture. He was a member of Hilltop Lutheran Church and Indiana Cares of Indianapolis.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to Damien Center, 1350 N. Pennsylvania, Indianapolis, IN 46202, Attention: Development.
