Roger Allan Casper, 57, of Wooddale Avenue, in South Bend, IN, passed away Friday, January 4, 2002, in his home of natural causes. Mr. Casper was born on February 5, 1944, in North Liberty, IN, to the late Peter Meryl and Beatrice Louise (Wringo) Casper.

On June 3, 1962, Roger married Gloria J. Troy who survives. Surviving with his wife of 39 years is a daughter, Wanda S. (Gary) Draheim of Mishawaka; a son, Rickey A. Casper, Sr., of South Bend; grandchildren, Heather Jean Casper, Rickey Allan Casper, Jr., Mandy Sue Casper, Keagan Daniel Sheldon, Kyle Ryan Sheldon, Samantha Jean Casper, Kathryn Taylor Casper; a stepgranddaughter, Melissa Renee Decker and a brother, Don (Bonnie) Casper of South Bend. Mr. Casper was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, # 978 in Niles, MI. He loved his grandchildren and gardening.

Cremation will take place. Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive in South Bend, IN, is in charge of arrangements.
