Edna W. Carter, 91, of 1941 Benmar
Drive, Lancaster, Pa., died on Sunday, Dec. 23, in Village Vista
Manor. Death was due to natural causes. Born in Muskegon, Mich.,
she was the daughter of the late Ross and Floy Emmons Williams.
She was the wife of the late Ralph Carter.
Mrs. Carter was employed for 20 years with
the Bendix Aviation Corporation, retiring in 1972. She had
resided in Lancaster since 1993, having previously lived in South
Bend, Ind. She was a member of the Christian faith. Mrs. Carter
is survived by a daughter, Marilyn F. Robbins of
Lancaster; a son, Robert Leland Ferguson, husband of
Marlene Ferguson of Clayton, Ind.; and by four grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on
Saturday, Dec. 29, at Riverview Cemetery Chapel, South Bend. If
desired, memorial contributions may be sent to the American
Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements by the Funeral Home of Fred
