SOUTH BEND - Helen Marie Carr, 71, of 2511 W. Ewing Ave., died at 8 a.m. Monday in her home of natural causes. Mrs. Carr retired from Soup 'R Sandwich. She was born March 20, 1923, in Tennessee. In South Bend, she married Clifford Carr. He died in 1991. She is survived by two grandchildren, Donyele Mays and Anthony Mays, both of South Bend. A daughter, Carolyn Curry Mays, died in 1992.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Alford's Mortuary. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the funeral home.
