OSCEOLA - Ruth Lee (Petty) Carpenter, 95, of Meridian Nursing Center-River Park, South Bend, formerly of Osceola, died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the nursing home. Mrs. Carpenter was born April 15, 1900, in Princeton, Mo., and lived in Osceola most of her life.
Her first husband, Willard Petty, preceded her in death. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
