Mrs. Pearl E. Carpenter
Mrs. Pearl E. Carpenter, 501 W. Washington Ave., died at 4:40
p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital after six month of illness.
Born in Berrien County, Michigan, Sept. 25, 1882, Mrs. Carpenter
had lived in South Bend 24 years. She was married to William H.
Carpenter, who died in 1931. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C.
J. Morris, South Bend, and Mrs. Alana B. Young, Azusa, Calif.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. today at the Welsheimer Funeral
Home. Rev. Frank Davison of First Christian Church, will
officiate at services in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday.
Burial Will be in Crystal Springs Cemetery, Benton Harbor, Mich.

CARPENTER - The funeral of Mrs. Pearl E. Carpenter, 501 W.
Washington Ave., will take place at 10 a.m. Monday in the
Welsheimer Funeral Home, Rev. Frank E. Davison D. D. pastor of
the First Christian Church will officiate and burial will be in
Crystal Springs Cemetery. Benton Harbor, Mich. Nephews will be
pallbearers. Friends may call in the funeral home.
