SOUTH BEND - Kevin Keith Carbiener, 54, of South Bend, died at 2
p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2009, in his residence following a
lengthy illness. Kevin was born February 24, 1955, in Yuma, AZ,
to the late Keith K. and Dorothy L. (Myers) Carbiener, and had
lived most of his life in the South Bend area. He is survived by
his wife, Paula (Argersinger); his children, Kimberly Clark
(Chris) of Rathdrum, ID, and Shane A. Carbiener (Shelby) of South
Bend; stepchildren, Meghan Sipotz of South Bend, Christopher
Lafter (Antoinette) of Indianapolis, IN, and Taylor Sipotz of
South Bend; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren;
sister, Judy Delaney of Holyoke, MA; brother, Terry K. Carbiener
(Sallie) of Sawyer, MI; stepmother, Barbara Carbiener of South
Bend; and stepbrother, Richard E. Pinter (Vickie) of South Bend.
Kevin was a contractor in the construction industry and had
served in the U.S. Air Force following graduation from North
Liberty High School. The family would like to extend heartfelt
gratitude to Dr. Bilal Ansari, Dr. Stephen McTigue and Dr. Robert
Yount. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. today, December
13th, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033
Cleveland Road, with Mr. Steve Nani of the Center for Hospice and
Palliative Care officiating. Memorial contributions may be made

Cancer Society , 601 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545; or
