MISHAWAKA - Peter F. Campoli, 80, died Saturday in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; and children, Brenda Jacobs and Brian Campoli; along with a sister, Ada Scheffler; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

MISHAWAKA - Peter Franklin Campoli, 80, of West Grove Street, passed away following a brief illness in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. He was born in Bremen, Indiana, to Paul and Lina (Fecosi) Campoli.

On January 31st, 1948, he married the former Betty Baker in Mishawaka. She survives with two children, Brenda (Gregory) Jacobs of Osceola and Brian (Debbie) Campoli of Mishawaka; and two grandchildren, Katie Campoli and Jennifer (Ryan) Bradley. He is also survived by a sister, Ada Marie Scheffler of Edwardsburg, Michigan. Mr. Campoli was a carpenter for the City of Mishawaka, retiring in 1997. He also served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran. Mr. Campoli was an avid baseball fan and truly loved the Detroit Tigers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association.
