MISHAWAKA - Mrs. Lena Campoli, 80, of
17261 M. 205, Edwardsburg, formerly of Mishawaka, died about
12:05 a.m. Monday in her home after a brief illness. She was born
on Dec. 19, 1901 in Italy., and lived in Mishawak and South Bend
area for 45 years., seven years in Edwardsburg, after coming from
Italy.
As Lena Focosi, she was married in
South Bend in 1920 to Paul Campoli, who died in 1938. Surviving
are two daughters, Mrs. James (Mary Jane) Kushto of
Centerville, Mich. and Mrs. Dick (Ada Marie) Scheffler of
Edwardsburg; two sons, Cosmo Campoli of Chicago and Peter F.
Campoli of Mishawaka; 13 grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the
Bubb Funeral Chapel with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends
may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral
home.
