M. Campion (Ursula Anne Kuhn)

11, 1919 - Jan, 11, 2010 NOTRE DAME - Sister Campion was born in
Schenectady, NY, to the late Charles A Klum and Clara M. Yeager.
She is survived by her sister, Rose Mary (Edmund) Cleary. Sister
is also survived by nieces, Dr, Kathleen M. Cleary, Mary Anne
Cleary, and nephew, Michael Cleary, cousins, Carl and Barbara
Yeager, and many friends. Before entering the Sisters of the Holy
Cross, Sister Campion taught at St. Cecilia's Academy in
Washington, DC. She was a graduate of the College of Saint Rose,
Albany, NY, and earned her MA and Ph.D from Catholic University,
Washington, DC. Sister taught in high schools in NY, VA, PA, and
was a graduate student at Catholic U. She was a history professor
and Academic Dean at Cardinal Cushing College, MA, and Professor
and Chair of the History Dept., Dunbarton College, Washington,
DC. Sister taught high school in Riverside, NJ, and returned to
Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN, to do research. Sister was
a member of the Constitution Committee for Saint Mary's
Generalate. In 1979 Sister was named to be the General Archivist
and Historian for the Congregations of the Sisters of the Holy
Cross, Notre Dame, IN. Sister Campion may have retired but she
was always available to those needing assistance with research.
Sister was active in the ministry of prayer until her death.
