Sister Mary Alberta CSC, 76, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died suddenly at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday in the convent. She was born as Mary Campbell in Providence, Pa. on Aug. 13, 1869, and has been a member of the community of St. Mary’s for 52 years.

The requiem mass was to be held in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception this morning with burial in the community cemetery at St. Mary’s.
