Aug. 4, 1941 - March 1, 2010NEW CARLISLE - Robert J. Campbell, 68, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010, in his home. He was born on August 4, 1941, in South Bend, Indiana, to Howard and Wanda (Topash) Campbell. Survivors include his former wife, Rosaland (Taylor) Campbell; daughters, Theresa Maina, Tammie Vesperino, Tina Schaeffer and Tonya Spitzer; son, Robert Campbell; brothers, Jerry and Richard Campbell; and sisters, Susan Truesdell, Joann Adcock, Mary Moore, Jill Byrket and Penny Younts. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Lee, John, Mike and Pete Campbell; and a sister, Judy (Campbell) Raymond. Robert was a tribal member and Elder of the Pokagon Band of the Potawatomi Indians. Services will be held at noon on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lincoln Way West, Osceola, IN 46561. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Interment will take place at Little Pine Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family, c/o the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home.
