SOUTH BEND - Maria (Sanchez) Camarillo, 51, of 742 S. Bendix Drive, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Camarillo was born Jan. 10, 1944, in Big Wells, Texas, and lived in South Bend for 23 years, coming from Harvard, Ill. She is survived by her former husband, Mateo Camarillo of South Bend; a daughter, Jessica Galan of Texas; four sons, Joseph of Harvard and Daniel, Raymond and Alexander, all of South Bend; five grandchildren; her mother, Catharina Sanchez of Hondo, Texas; five sisters, Frances Galan and Isabel Galan, both of Big Wells, Rosa Torres of Glenview, Ill., and Esther Escobedo and Josie Fuentes, both of South Bend; and four brothers, Paul Sanchez, Juan Sanchez and Julian Sanchez, all of South Bend, and Basilio Sanchez of Belvedere, Ill.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home.

SOUTH BEND - Services for Maria (Sanchez) Camarillo, 51, of 742 S. Bendix Drive, who died at 11:45 a.m. Monday in her home after an illness, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday. Survivors include a son, Joseph of South Bend.
