Edward Callison

September 12, 1856 – June 5, 1942

Edward Callison, aged 85, of 911 Harrison Avenue, died at 7:30am today in the home of a son, Norman Callison, with whom he resided.  He was ill a week.

He was born in Ypsilanti MI, September 12, 1856, and came here twelve years ago from Superior WI.  He was married in Bay City MI, in 1877, to Elizabeth Duby, who preceded him in death.  He leaves another son, Ray Callison, of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. A.E. Weber, of Superior, and two grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home tonight and until the funeral there at 2pm Monday.  Rev. Lawrence C. Ferguson, DD, rector of St James Episcopal Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
