SOUTH BEND - Barbara Ann Callaway, 72, of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Monday in Meese Hospital Countryside, Safety Harbor, Fla. Mrs. Callaway was a former secretary at the University of Notre Dame.

She was born Dec. 7, 1921, in South Bend and moved to Florida from South Bend in 1976. She is survived by her husband, Victor Callaway of Palm Harbor; two sons, Larry V. of Bristol, Mich., and James P. of South Bend; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Marilyn Savely of South Bend; and a brother, William F. Fites of Harbor Springs, Mich.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Palm Harbor Presbyterian Church. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor, is in charge of arrangements.
