John F. Caddy, 67, of 917 N. St. Peter, died at home at 3 p.m. Thursday following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 11, 1912, in Star City, Ind., and moved to South Bend in 1938
Caddy was married on Feb. 8, 1946, in Mishawaka to Lillian Cowgill who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Thomas A. of South Bend, and Robert W. of Chicago; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bonnie Jean Morehouse of South Bend; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marian Luckowski of South Bend, and Mrs. Peggy Washnock of Bremen, and a brother, Herman of Rochester.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the McGann Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Dilg CSC, associate pastor of St. Joseph Church, officiating.
Burial will be at noon Monday in the Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
