Mrs. Carl Cabanaw, 1120 South Bend Ave., died in St. Joseph’s Hospital at 4:15 a.m. today after a sudden illness. Born here May 15, 1891, she had been a lifetime resident. On July 7, 1922, she married Carl Cabanaw; he survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Raymond Parker and Paul Parker, and one sister, Mrs.  Elmer Cabanaw, all of South Bend. Friends may call after noon Sunday in the Orvis Funeral Home. Services will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
