SOUTH BEND - Oma Hazel Bynum, 92, formerly of Silver Lane,
South Bend, died Monday evening, March 10, in the Bremen Health
Care Center. She was born January 9, 1916, in Herrin, IL, to
William and Ruth (Covington) Ausenbaugh.
On Dec. 1, 1951, in South Bend, she married
James McClain Bynum, who died March 3, 1980. Also preceding her
were her parents; a grandson; and four sisters, Mary Jo Everly,
Thalia Weaver, Dorothy Hauger and Lois Martinez. Survivors are
three daughters, Connie (John) Paszli and Marlene G. Six of South
Bend, and Debbie Wilburn of Mishawaka; a son, Earl Phillip (Faye)
Six of Zephyrhills, FL; and a sister, Sharon (Robert) McDonald of
Arizona.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March
14, in the HICKEY Funeral Homes, 17131 Cleveland Road, with
interment following at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call one
hour prior to services in the HICKEY Funeral Home.
