Mrs. Wilfred (Marie) Byam

September 19, 1911 – June 22, 1979

Mrs. Marie Byam, 67, of 3318 Pleasant, died at 10pm Friday in Osteopathic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

 She was born on September 19, 1911, in Niles and had lived in this area most o her life.  As Marie Riegle, on January 13, 1927, in Lakeville, she married Wilfred Byam, who survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Archie Cornwell of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Ardell Brown of Troy OH and a brother, George Riegle of Los Angeles.

Services will be at 2pm on Monday in the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka, with Rev. C. Dwayne Dollgener, pastor of St Andrew’s United Church of Christ, Mishawaka, of which she was a member, officiating.

Friends may call form 7 to 9pm on Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the St Andrew’s Church Memorial Fund.
