SOUTH BEND - Mr. Benjamin Stanislaus Buzalski, 89, died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, in Regency Place. Survivors include his son, James J. (Marcia L.) Buzalski of Vandalia, MI; sister Angeline Ryszka; grandsons: Thomas J (Diana) Buzalski, Michael B. Buzalski, Daniel M. Buzalski; and four great-grandchildren.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in McGANN-HAY FUNERAL HOMES, UNIVERSITY CHAPEL, 2313 E. Edison Road at Ironwood, where friends may call one hour before.

SOUTH BEND - Mr. Benjamin Stanislaus Buzalski, 89, of South Bend, passed away at 4:45 a.m. on Sunday after a brief illness in Regency Place. Ben was born on November 5, 1918, in Valparaiso, IN, to the late Nick Francis and Stella (Guzinski) Buzalski.

 

On November 18, 1939, in Michigan City, IN, he married Dorothy Leona Pries, who passed away on February 21, 2005. They had lived in South Bend since 1951. Surviving Mr. Buzalski are his son, James J. (Marcia L.) Buzalski of Vandalia, MI; a sister, Angeline Ryszka of Michigan City; three grandsons, Thomas J (Diana) Buzalski of Vandalia, Michael B. Buzalski of Edwardsburg and Daniel M. Buzalski of Vandalia; and four great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristi, Benjamin and Adam James

 

"A.J." Family, friends and neighbors may call Wednesday morning, Dec. 5th, from 10 to 11 AM in the McGANN-HAY FUNERAL HOMES, UNIVERSITY CHAPEL, 2313 E. Edison Road at Ironwood, South Bend, followed by the funeral service at 11 AM, with Rev. Neal J. Ryan, CSC, pastor of Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will be at Adamsville Cemetery, Edwardsburg, MI. Ben was retired from the Colonial Oil Company as the manager of their service station at US 31 North and Dubois from 1951 until 1982. He was a member of Little Flower Parish. He just loved people...there wasn't a soul he didn't love. Memorial donations may be made to any charity.
