Edmond Buysse

1874 – December 9, 1957

Edmond Buysse, 83, of 528 W. 7^th St., died at 1:45pm Monday in St Joseph Hospital following a short illness.  He was born in Zomergem, Belgium, from where he came to Mishawaka 54 years ago.  He married Miss Marie Van De Putte in St Bavo’s Catholic Church in 1903.  She died in 1953.

Mr. Buysse was a retired Ball Band plant employee.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph J. Boehnlein, at home and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place at 9am Thursday in St Bavo’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Otto J. Kellar, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call at the DeVos Chapel this evening and until the funeral hour.  The rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Wednesday in St Bavo’s Church.

FUNERAL NOTES

Funeral rites for Edmond Buysse, 83, of 528 7^th St., who died Monday afternoon, will take place at 9am Thursday in St Bavo’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Otto J. Keller, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call at the DeVos Chapel.  The rosary will be recited at 7:30pm today in St Bavo’s church.  Pallbearers will be Werner DeRue, Maurice Biesbrouck, Adolph Mervelde, Camiel Maer.
