MISHAWAKA - Dorothy L. Buwa, 65, of Ellen Avenue, died at 11:05 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. 

Mrs. Buwa was born May 6, 1928, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident. On Sept. 15, 1945, in Mishawaka, as Dorothy Reygaert, she married James E. Buwa. He survives, with a daughter, Beverly A. Conard of Mishawaka; three granddaughters; five great-granddaughters; and a brother, Albert Reygaert of Elkhart. She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 98.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association.
