2, 1933 - Aug. 14, 2010SOUTH BEND - Mary Ellen Buscoe, 77, of Lafayette, IN, formerly of South Bend, IN, died at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette at 4:26 PM Saturday, August 14, 2010. Born February 2, 1933, in South Bend, IN, the daughter of the late John and Lillian Smith Schultz, she had resided in Lafayette the past five months. She married Raymond J. Buscoe in South Bend on January 19, 1953, and he preceded her in death January 12, 1991. Mrs. Buscoe was a homemaker and a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in South Bend. Surviving are two daughters, Theresa Sommer (husband, Michael) of Kokomo, IN, and Karen Taylor of Lafayette, IN; and a son, Robert Busko (wife, Laura) of Plymouth, IN. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Schultz, and by a half brother, Eugene Warren. Friends may call in the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette, IN, from 10:00 AM until the service at noon on Tuesday, Fr. Eric Underwood officiating.
