SOUTH BEND - Services for Dawn V.
Burrough, 85, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, who died at
1:10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural
causes, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Osceola. Burial will follow. There
will be no visitation. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to
Congregate Living of St. Paul's Retirement Community.
Mrs. Burrough retired from J.C. Penney Co.
She was born Jan. 20, 1910, in Berrien Springs, and lived in
South Bend most of her life.
On Dec. 7, 1945, in South Bend, as Dawn
Himes Morehead, she married Arthur J. Burrough. He died in
1977. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela D. Putt of
Granger; and two grandchildren, Christopher Putt of Washington,
D.C., and Karen Putt of South Bend.
