Patricia A. Burns, 73, was born on June 13, 1933, to Robert L. and Sylvia (Derringer) Crane. Patricia passed away at 10 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2006

On July 5, 1952, Patricia married Charles F. Burns, who died January 1, 1950. Also preceding her in death were a son, Kevin M. Burns; three sisters, Mary Henry, Beverly Henry and Joyce Larson; her parents, Sylvia Henry and Robert Crane; and her twin grandsons, Tyler and Jason Burns.

Survivors of Patricia include Deborah K. Breedlove (Howard) of Granger and Charles J., David A., and Robert S., all of South Bend. Her grandchildren include Heather (Bryan) Cline of South Bend, Brian Burns, Colin Burns and Aaron Breedlove, Troy Burns and Erica Burns, all of South Bend, and Aimee Breedlove of Granger. Her sisters include Sandy Velmene of Wisconsin and Carol (Sam) O'Quinn and Glenda (Bill) Williams, both of Florida. Her brothers include Robert (Bertie) Crane of Logansport, Bill Crane and Jack (Vivian) Crane, both of Mishawaka.

Pat supported Special Olympics through the Logan Center and many of their activities. She was also a crochet instructor at Forever Learning.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 415 N. Brookfield St., with visitation one hour prior. McGann Hay Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
