WALKERTON - Ruth L. Burch, 84, of 20747 N. Lake Drive, died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday in the home of her caretaker of natural causes.

Mrs. Burch was born Dec. 13, 1911, in Chicago and lived here since 1939, coming from Chicago. On June 17, 1939, in Starke County, she married Wayne R. Burch. He survives with two daughters, Judy New of Walkerton and Susan Urbin of Plymouth; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ellen Berg of Sacramento, Calif., and Yohanna Hathaway of Stewart, Fla. She was a member of Walkerton First Presbyterian Church and Walkerton Tri Kappa.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home. Cremation will take place, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
