Obituary for Elva Evans Bunch--ex-wife of Floyd Evans:
Mrs. Elva E. Bunch, 78, of 1337 Sorin St., died at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Cardinal Convalescent Home after an extended illness. She was born on June 13, 1893 in St. Joseph county and had lived here all of her life. She was married on Oct. 24, 1925, in Cassopolis, Mich., to Russell Bunch, who died in 1969. Surviving are two brothers, Elmer and Richard Merrill and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Gaff, all of South Bend.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Wisheimer funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by Roland Steever, pastor of the River Park Church of Christ. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.Source: South Bend Tribune Dec.29, 1971
