Margaret (LaCluyse) Budnik, 94, of Milton Home, South Bend, Ind., formerly of Park Jefferson Apartments, died Friday afternoon, Sept. 12, in the Milton Home. Margaret was born Oct. 3, 1908, in South Bend, to Camiel and Elodia (Dutoi) LaCluyse, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gerald and Bruce Budnik; and by six sisters and one brother. On May 23, 1936, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, Ind., she married Nicholas A. Budnik, who died Oct. 15, 2001. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Budnik of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Elsie Vandewalle of South Bend.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Lakeville, Ind. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., 574- 289-1000, where a Rosary will be said at 3 p.m. Margaret was a member of St. Anthony Parish, Ladies of Charity and the Christ Child Society.

Memorials may be made to the Christ Child Society or to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
